Defensive Lineman Brad Fitzgibbon Chooses Kansas Over Wisconsin and Iowa

Wisconsin loses out on 2025 DL recruit Brad Fitzgibbon

Brad Fitzgibbon, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman from Chicago, Illinois, announced his commitment to Kansas over Wisconsin and Iowa. Despite the Badgers offering him a scholarship in January under Greg Scruggs’ coaching, Fitzgibbon ultimately chose the Jayhawks as his top option.

Fitzgibbon is ranked as the No. 853 player in the class of 2025 and the No. 86 defensive lineman by 247Sports. He has scheduled official visits to his top three schools, including Michigan State and Iowa, which he will take place in May and June.

Wisconsin’s class of 2025 currently ranks No. 16 in the nation with 13 commitments. Earlier this month, the program added commitments from cornerback Rukeem Stroud and offensive tackle Logan Powell. As official visit weekends continue, the class is expected to grow further.
