The Bears have announced the signing of veteran receiver and return specialist DeAndre Carter to a one-year contract. Throughout his six-year career, Carter has played in a total of 94 games with previous stints at the Eagles, Texans, Commanders, Chargers, and Raiders.
In 2020, Carter played four games with the Bears before moving on to other opportunities. During his time with the Chargers in 2022, he set career highs in receptions and yards offensively. In his 17 games with the Raiders in 2023, he caught four passes for 39 yards and continued to be a valuable asset in the return game.
Carter brings experience and depth to the Bears’ receiving corps and special teams unit. With his proven ability to contribute both on offense and in the return game, Carter adds another dynamic element to the team’s roster for the upcoming season.
