DeAndre Carter Brings Versatility and Experience to the Chicago Bears as a Special Teams Ace

Report: Bears Officially Sign Wide Receiver DeAndre Carter

The Chicago Bears have signed wide receiver and special teams ace DeAndre Carter, according to Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz. Carter, who is 30 years old, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2015. He briefly played for the Bears in 2020, appearing in four games during that time.

Throughout his career, Carter has had stops with several different teams including the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Chargers, and most recently the Las Vegas Raiders. With his experience and versatility, Carter brings value to the Bears as a special teams player where he will have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot.
