Operations have restarted at the temporary pier in Gaza

On the same night, two reservists from the Tel Aviv army lost their lives in a mortar attack in the Gaza Strip. The United States Central Command reported that over 4,160 tons of humanitarian aid had been delivered through a temporary pier in Gaza to the sorting area where humanitarian organizations can collect and distribute the aid. This marked the largest single-day aid distribution to date. Meanwhile, concerns of a full-scale war are growing in the Biden administration regarding the Israel-Hezbollah situation on the border with Lebanon. There are fears that the Israeli Iron Dome missile defense system could be overwhelmed by the missile arsenal of the pro-Iranian Shiite group.

In Washington, US Secretary of State met with Israeli officials to discuss the need to avoid further escalation between Israel and Hezbollah on the border with Lebanon.
