Dartmouth Hosts a packed Weekend of Athletics: Baseball, Sailing, Track and Field, Rowing and Lacrosse

Looking Ahead: Week 5

On Saturday, April 27, Dartmouth baseball will host Princeton University at home for a double header. The Big Green lost to Holy Cross College 5-7 last year and currently has a record of 11-19, 6-9.

On Sunday, April 28 at noon, the sailing team will compete in the Little 3 hosted by Middlebury College. The team placed first and third out of 14 at the Central 4 Fleet Race on April 14 and is looking forward to another successful competition.

On Monday, May 6, men’s track and field will compete in the Ivy League Heptathlon Championship at Harvard University in Cambridge. Women’s track will continue with their second day of competition in Durham against several universities. Lightweight rowing will compete in the Baggaley Bowl at home against Yale University, having captured the Durand Cup in Hanover on April 20. Heavyweight rowing will also host a meet against several universities at Lake Morey Invite in Fairlee, Vt.

At noon on Saturday, women’s lacrosse will host Cornell University at Red Rolfe Field. The team is currently 1-5 in conference play and is looking forward to playing a competitive game against one of their rivals. Softball will play a double header against Cornell University at Red Rolfe Field at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., having defeated Cornell University in three straight games on April 20 and 21. Women’s tennis will host Harvard University at Boss Tennis Center at 2 p.m., with Peyton Capuano ’27 and Michela Moore ’27 looking forward to another successful match after winning their doubles match against Princeton on April
