Danfoss Reveals $62 Million Facility Expansion in Tallahassee: Boosting Local Economy and Job Opportunities

Danfoss reveals new $62 million temperature technology facility in Tallahassee

A $62 million facility expansion by Danfoss, a temperature technology manufacturer, was revealed in Tallahassee, Florida. The upgrade was first discussed four years ago and the new facility, located in Innovation Park, covers 145,000 square feet and is heavily automated. This expansion is expected to create more job opportunities in Tallahassee and boost the local economy by bringing in more jobs and supporting small businesses in the area.

Local entrepreneur Jochen Hornung expressed how crucial Danfoss supplies are to his pump company, which focuses on creating sustainable and eco-friendly pumps for heating and cooling needs. Over 80% of his compressors come from Danfoss, so having a larger production facility nearby is a significant advantage for his business.

Residents can learn more about the newly renovated facility and hear from CEO Kim Fausing and Hornung on Eyewitness News at 5 and 6 p.m. Additional details will also be provided later in the evening. To stay informed on breaking news, follow WCTV on Facebook and Twitter.
