Custer and Mayer Look to Repeat at Portland International Raceway in NASCAR Xfinity Series

Guide to Watching the NASCAR Xfinity Race in Portland on Saturday

The NASCAR Xfinity Series is set to race at Portland International Raceway for the second time this season, as part of a three-race road course series. Cole Custer claimed victory in last year’s event, while Sam Mayer has won three of the last five Xfinity road course races.

On Saturday, the green flag will wave at 4:46 p.m., after the command to start engines is given at 4:38 p.m. Eastern Time. The garage opens at 10 a.m., followed by driver introductions at 4 p.m. The invocation will be delivered by Motor Racing Outreach’s Donnie Floyd at 4:30 p.m., and the national anthem will be performed by Jessie Leigh at 4:31 p.m. The race will consist of 75 laps covering 147.75 miles on the 1.97-mile road course, with Stage 1 ending at Lap 25 and Stage 2 ending at Lap 50. Qualifying begins at noon on Saturday.

The race will be broadcast on FS1 at 4:30 p.m., with pre-race coverage starting at 4 p.m. Motor Racing Network coverage will also begin at 4 p.m., and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will stream the MRN broadcast
