He shared the news on social media, explaining that he needed surgery and a long recovery period, making it impossible to proceed with the tour.
Despite the cancellation of his tour, Cudi remains optimistic about getting back on stage once he has fully recovered. The tour was set to kick off on June 28 in Austin, Texas with Pusha T, Earthgang, Jaden Smith, Chelsea Pastel, and Siena Bella as supporting acts. Although disappointed about not being able to perform on this tour, Cudi expressed gratitude for his fans’ continued support and promised new tour dates would be announced soon.
Cudi returned to Coachella as a special guest over the weekend and broke his foot while jumping down from the stage to interact with fans. He was promptly taken to the hospital and received medical attention.
