Cubs roster moves: Keegan Thompson activated from paternity list, Luke Little sent down to Triple-A Iowa

The Chicago Cubs are making roster changes ahead of their game against the New York Mets, bringing back Keegan Thompson from the paternity list and sending Luke Little to Triple-A Iowa. Thompson, who is 29 years old, has pitched in two games since being called up on June 15. In those games, he has a 4.30 ERA with one save, 23 strikeouts, and seven walks over 14.2 innings.

On the other hand, Little has been with the Cubs for most of the season and has a 4.35 ERA with a record of 2-1 in 23 games and one start. In 20.2 innings, he has walked 17 batters, struck out 20, and allowed one home run. After a tough loss to the Mets on Friday, the Cubs are aiming to bounce back in their upcoming game on Saturday at 1:20 p.m. at Wrigley Field.
