Results of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials

In 2024, the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials were held at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene. The competition determined the top three finishers in each event who would make the Olympic team if they met the qualifying standard or had a high world ranking. Additionally, other sprinters were selected for the 4x100m and 4x400m relay pools.

In the Men’s 10,000m event, Grant Fisher finished first with a time of 27:49.47, followed closely by Woody Kincaid in second place with a time of 27:50.74, and Nico Young in third place with a time of 27:52.40. Other notable finishers included Drew Hunter, Casey Clinger, Conner Mantz, Sam Chelanga, and Andrew Colley.

The excitement of the Track and Field Trials was captured on broadcast schedules around the country as fans eagerly watched athletes compete for a spot on the Olympic team.

One standout athlete of the Trials was Ryan Crouser, who is considered one of the best shot putters in history. Not only is he an Olympic and world champion but he also holds a world record.

Despite his own success, Crouser has taken on a coaching role at Hayward Field where he provides guidance and expertise to other athletes in addition to his own training.

With his leadership skills and impressive athletic achievements, it’s safe to say that Crouser will continue to inspire future generations of track and field athletes.

As we look forward to upcoming events such as the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow in 2024, it’s clear that there are many talented athletes out there who have what it takes to make it onto an Olympic team.
