Critics Call Out Justice System in Wake of Released Suspects who Threw Molotov Cocktails on A 215 Near Lübeck

Judicial ruling: Molotov cocktails on the highway deemed non-hazardous

The release of three suspects accused of throwing Molotov cocktails onto the A 215 near Lübeck has sparked outrage among the public and raised concerns about the justice system’s approach to dangerous criminal behavior. On April 28, a terrifying incident occurred on the highway, causing chaos and danger for drivers. The perpetrators, identified as Julian K. (21), Cem F. (19), and Erik F. (19) from Kiel, were arrested by criminal investigators for their actions. However, despite the serious nature of the crime, the district court judge decided to release the suspects, citing that because no one was injured, their actions were not considered dangerous. This decision shocked the public prosecutor’s office, who filed a complaint against the ruling.

Video footage of the incident shows the suspects carrying Molotov cocktails and setting them on fire before throwing them onto the highway. The police were stunned by the court’s attitude towards the crime, with one officer sarcastically remarking that Molotov cocktails are apparently okay as long as no one gets hurt.
