Cowboys Bring Back Damien Wilson: Fourth Ex-NFL Player Signed in Offseason”.

Cowboys set to add LB Damien Wilson to roster

The Cowboys have decided to bring back linebacker Damien Wilson, who had not been part of the league for most of last season. He signed with the Cowboys’ practice squad on January 3rd and served a four-game suspension last season for violating the Personal Conduct Policy. Wilson’s last game appearance was in Week 18 of the 2022 season with the Panthers.

Damien Wilson began his NFL career as a fourth-round pick of the Cowboys in 2015. He spent his first four seasons in Dallas before moving on to play for Kansas City, Jacksonville, and Carolina. With the Cowboys in need of depth at the linebacker position, two days after drafting Marist Liufau in the third round, they decided to sign Wilson. He is the fourth outside free agent the Cowboys have added this offseason, joining Ezekiel Elliott, Eric Kendricks, and Royce Freeman.
