The Detroit Lions are getting ready for their upcoming football season as they prepare for their training camp in July. The rookies will kick off the training camp on Saturday, July 20th, with a few days to themselves before the veterans join in on Tuesday, July 23rd.
All practices will be held at the Lions’ training facility in Allen Park, except for joint practices with the New York Giants ahead of their preseason game. Last year, the Lions hosted the Giants, but this year they will travel to New York for the joint practices.
Training camp will run until the final preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 24th at Ford Field. While specific dates and times for camp availability have not been released yet, fans can expect an exciting lead-up to the new season. Stay tuned for more updates on Lions Wire.
