Could the Buffalo Bills Surprise CBS Sports with an Over? Analyzing NFL AFC East Team Predictions

CBS Sports suggests betting the under on the Bills’ win total for 2024.

The Buffalo Bills had a busy offseason, and CBS Sports is predicting that the under in sportsbooks for the team sounds promising. In a recent analysis, CBS Sports evaluated each team in the AFC East and predicted whether they would hit the over or under in the upcoming season. Shockingly, CBS Sports chose the under not only for the Bills but also for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots.

Despite CBS Sports’ prediction of a possible under for the Bills, they still have strong potential to win a fifth-straight divisional crown. The over/under for each team in the AFC East was listed as follows: Bills: 10.5, Jets: 9.5, Dolphins: 9.5, Patriots: 4.5. CBS Sports explained that they feel the Bills are being underrated this season by the public because of some losses on defense and offensive weapons.

While there are concerns about losses on defense, the Bills have made moves to replenish their team during the offseason. Quarterback Josh Allen remains a key asset for the team despite some losses in offensive weapons. The Bills’ performance in close games last season suggested they had more potential than they achieved with new offensive additions like Dalton Kincaid and potential changes in strategy under new offensive coordinator Joe Brady; there is optimism for their success in the upcoming season.

CBS Sports acknowledges that while they lean towards an under prediction for this season’s outcome, there are several factors that could lead to positive results for these teams.

In summary, although CBS Sports has chosen an under prediction for four out of five teams in the AFC East Division of NFL Football League (NFL), including Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots; experts believe that these teams still have great potential to succeed during their respective seasons despite some concerns about their performance last year or certain player’s availability during preseason training camp or other events happening before start of regular season games due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on gatherings such as training camps and practices etc.,
