Comparing Comfort and Service: A Back-to-Back Flight Experience with British Airways and Finnair

Economy Class Comparison: British Airways and Finnair Flights to Europe – Similar Seats, Varied Cuisine

I recently had the chance to fly on two major European flag carriers, British Airways and Finnair, in economy class. Although both airlines offered comfortable coach seats with decent space, my experience with Finnair was far superior to that of British Airways. Despite this, I would still consider booking with British Airways again if the price is competitive.

Both airlines have hubs in London and Helsinki, respectively, and are well-regarded in the industry. However, my unique experience of flying back-to-back with both carriers allowed me to compare their long-haul flights between Europe and the US. While British Airways is larger than Finnair, I found that the smaller airline provided a more comfortable and enjoyable flying experience.

One key factor that contributed to my positive experience with Finnair was the ability to bring my own food on board. This allowed me to make the most of my journey and enjoy a meal that was tailored to my taste preferences. Overall, both British Airways and Finnair provided me with a positive flying experience, but Finnair’s slight edge in comfort and service made it my preferred choice for future flights.
