The village of Combloux in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps made its debut on the UCI Enduro World Cup stage, marking a significant moment for the sport. Despite being new to the competition, the village is considered the beating heart of the enduro format, giving the event a sense of homecoming for riders and fans alike.

The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series course in Combloux was challenging for riders, featuring six stages with a total descent of 2,530m. The course also included liaisons, making for a total of 39.2km with 1,685m of elevation gain. The combination of a slick track due to rain earlier in the week and hot weather conditions added to the difficulty, requiring riders to push themselves to avoid time penalties and make it to the finish line.
