Colorado Football Extends Offer to Impressive High School Athlete Zayne DeSouza from Loveland

Zayne DeSouza, standout from Loveland, receives offer from Colorado

As a standout athlete from Loveland High School, Zayne DeSouza has received an offer from Colorado football following his impressive performance at the Buffs’ summer elite camp. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 255 pounds, DeSouza is listed as a tight end/defensive end but is expected to play on the offensive side in college. In his junior year at Red Wolves, he amassed 330 receiving yards and one touchdown in just 11 games.

Ranked as a three-star athlete by 247Sports, DeSouza is considered the eighth-best prospect in Colorado’s 2025 recruiting class. He has also received offers from Northern Colorado and Washington State. Other standouts from the Colorado elite camp include wide receiver Jeremiah Hoffman, WR/TE Landon Wolny, and defensive back Jack Offerdahl.

Wolny, a rising sophomore from Naples, Florida, also received an offer from Colorado following the camp. The camp was held over the summer and showcased some of the best young talent in Colorado and beyond. The Buffaloes are excited to have DeSouza join their team for the upcoming season.
