Colorado Film Premiere Tackles Mental Health Stigma: Meet Drew Petersen

Feel It All: A premiere in Colorado’s mountain communities addressing mental health

Drew Petersen, a Colorado native and mental health advocate, is set to premier his new film “Feel It All” at Summit High School on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The film aims to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide by promoting a culture that prioritizes mental well-being.

Petersen’s previous work as a journalist has shed light on the importance of addressing mental health in mountain communities. His story was featured on CBS News Colorado, highlighting his valuable perspective and willingness to support those struggling with mental health issues.

In “Feel It All,” Petersen incorporates ski clips and footage from his Leadville 100 race to engage Colorado audiences while addressing important topics related to mental health and suicide. He emphasizes the importance of building connections within communities through shared experiences rather than diving straight into difficult conversations about these issues.

If you miss the initial screening, the film will be shown in Crested Butte on Friday and will be available for free streaming on YouTube later in the summer.
