Colo-rectal Awareness Month Wellness Expo: Empowering the Monticello Community to Improve Their Health

Wellness Expo to be Hosted by Jefferson & Madison County Health Departments

In honor of National Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness Month, the Jefferson and Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee are hosting a wellness expo. The event will feature more than 30 vendors and take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m. Administrator Kimberly Allbritton emphasizes the importance of such events, especially during awareness months like this one.

The wellness expo aims to raise awareness about colo-rectal health and provide valuable information to the community. It will also include free produce giveaways and cooking demonstrations by Second Harvest of the Big Bend. The event is free and open to the public, offering a variety of resources and vendors to promote wellness and healthy living.
