According to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, Belichick has agreed to participate in the event which takes place in Los Angeles. Other confirmed roasters include Ben Affleck, Randy Moss, Julian Edelman, Drew Bledsoe, and Rob Gronkowski.
Belichick and Brady have a long history together, having played for the same team for many years. There is plenty of material for them to tease each other about, but it remains to be seen how far they will go during the roast. Roasts can sometimes get personal and raunchy, so it will be interesting to see how the dynamic between these two former colleagues plays out.
As comedians are usually better equipped to handle roasts, it may be challenging for football players like Belichick and Brady to sell jokes delivered by others.
