Recently, Athlon Sports revealed their college football 2024 All-American team, featuring two standout players from Clemson.
On the defensive side of things, linebacker Barrett Carter was named a first-team defensive All-American. His decision to return to Clemson for another season surprised many, as he is considered a potential early pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Carter’s focus now is on further developing his skills within the program and boosting his draft stock for the 2025 class. Carter had an impressive performance last season, standing out in 11 games with 59 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and three sacks.
On the offensive side of things, offensive tackle Blake Miller was named a fourth-team offensive All-American. Despite a somewhat challenging season in 2023 after a strong freshman year, Miller’s talent and potential are undeniable.
