Clemson football aims for College Football Playoff return, EA Sports believes they’ve got the roster for it”.

Dabo Swinney and Clemson’s Ranking in EA Sports’ ‘College Football 25’

In 2024, Clemson football is aiming to return to the College Football Playoff and EA Sports’ “College Football 25” game believes they have the roster to achieve it. The Tigers have an impressive 87 overall on offense and a 90 on defense, ranking them No. 10 and No. 5 in the game respectively. Their overall team rating is also at No.6 in EA Sports’ initial top-25 power rankings.

According to EA Sports, the rankings are based on players’ ratings within the team, with scores ranging from 0 to 100. Despite concerns about their offense and lack of transfer portal players, Clemson has managed to secure a spot in the top 10 of ACC schools. This optimism stems from head coach Dabo Swinney’s previous successes with the team.

Leading the rankings are Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama, and Texas. Other ACC schools that made it into the top-25 list include Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, and NC State. The Tigers will kick off their season against Georgia on August 31 in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium – an eagerly anticipated game by fans and experts alike.
