The Kentucky Wildcats and Texas A&M Aggies will face off in the second game of the College World Series on Monday night at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET. This matchup will take place in the winner’s bracket, while Florida and NC State will be competing in the loser’s bracket.
Florida was defeated by Texas A&M 3-2 on Saturday night, securing their spot in the winner’s bracket and setting up a showdown with Kentucky. Although the Aggies have made eight appearances in the College World Series, they have never won an NCAA Championship.
In their opening game of the CWS, Kentucky found themselves trailing 4-3 heading into the ninth inning against NC State. However, a solo home run by Ryan Nicholson tied the game in the ninth, and a walk-off solo home run by Mitch Daly in the 10th secured Kentucky’s first-ever victory in the College World Series.
