CJ Stroud Swoops: QB’s No-Look Pass Impresses During Team Drills and Secures Fans’ Attention

C.J. Stroud Impresses with No-Look Pass at Texans OTAs

In his second season as the franchise quarterback for the Houston Texans, C.J. Stroud has already shown off his skills and impressed during OTAs. Despite the addition of high-profile free agents, it was Stroud, the No. 2 overall pick, who stole the show during a media session on Tuesday.

During team drills, Stroud made a remarkable no-look pass to veteran receiver Robert Woods, leaving jaws dropping and Twitter buzzing with excitement. This type of flashy play is becoming a trend among quarterbacks in the league, with players like Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, and Joe Burrow all making similar eye-catching throws in the past.

Stroud’s impressive rookie season where he surpassed 4,000 passing yards and led the league in touchdown-to-interception ratio and passing yards per game has already solidified his status as a rising star in the league. His teammates have noticed his growth and development as a leader both on and off the field.

“He’s definitely gotten more comfortable,” said Texans tight end Dalton Schultz. “He’s kind of taken that next step of being a verbal guy and a verbal leader that quarterbacks in the league have to be.” With an impressive performance during OTAs and fans and analysts excited for what he will bring to the field in his second season with the Texans, it looks like CJ Stroud is set to continue making waves in the NFL.
