Last week, students from Statesville Christian School showcased their science fair projects. These students spent four months using the scientific method to investigate specific problems. Each project also included a Biblical application connecting some aspect of the project to Scripture.
Judges from the community, including professional scientists and educators, awarded superior, excellent, and good ribbons to the participants. The event featured work from elementary, middle, and high school students as well.
The following fifth grade students received Superior Ribbons for their science fair projects: Roman Burleson, Hannah Eddy, Rachel Hudgins, Tasman Jones, Savannah Reeves, Charlotte Teeter, and Maston Wiggins. Eighth grade students who received Superior Ribbons include: Levi Allen, Harrison Hummel, Molly Upp, Haidyn Ramey, James Murphy, Sylas Bovee, Dylan Mankos, Walker Reeves
