Chiefs vs. Bengals: A Clash of Quarterbacks in the AFC North to Kick Off 2024 Regular Season

In Week Two, the Chiefs will welcome the Bengals to their home field.

The Kansas City Chiefs will kick off the 2024 regular season with two consecutive home games against AFC North opponents. The first game will be against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, September 15 at Arrowhead Stadium. This game will begin at 4:25 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS.

If things go as planned, the game will be another chapter in the rivalry between Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes. The two quarterbacks faced off in the AFC title game after the 2021 season, with Burrow leading the Bengals to victory on the road. However, Mahomes and the Chiefs got their revenge in the following playoffs.

The previous year, during Week 17 of the regular season, Burrow was sidelined with a right wrist injury while playing against Kansas City Chiefs, but they won 25-17 and went on to win their second consecutive Super Bowl title. This upcoming game presents an opportunity for both teams to renew their rivalry and settle scores on the field.
