A renowned restaurant in Chicago’s Fulton Market was honored with a significant accolade on Wednesday, being recognized as one of the best restaurants in the world in the first part of a two-part ranking release. Smyth, one of only two restaurants in the city to hold three Michelin stars, was among three American establishments included in this year’s “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list.

Smyth achieved its third Michelin star in November, becoming only the 13th restaurant in the United States to receive this top rating. The restaurant, which opened its doors in 2016, secured the No. 90 spot in the initial part of the list, with the remaining “50 Best” names set to be disclosed at a later time.

In addition to Smyth, two other American restaurants made the 51-100 list. Cosme, a Mexican cuisine-inspired restaurant in New York, claimed the No. 99 spot, while Le Bernardin, a French global fusion eatery in the same city, was ranked at No. 71.

Smyth is known for its dishes that are crafted using only the finest natural ingredients and are sourced through partnerships with small farmers and quality meat suppliers. The restaurant is located at 124 North Ada Street in Chicago and offers an unforgettable dining experience that is worth visiting for food lovers.
