The Philadelphia 76ers clinched their playoff spot with a win over the Grizzlies, setting up a Play-In game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls on April 17. Although the location of the game is still undecided, currently, Chicago holds a two-game lead in the loss column and owns the tiebreaker between the two teams. This means that if they were to lose, it would be their season that ends, sparking rumors of potential trades for star players like Zach LaVine and Trae Young.

The winner of the Hawks-Bulls Play-In game will advance to face the loser of the 7th/8th Play-In game, which currently features Miami and Philadelphia with Indiana as a potential contender for one of those spots. The ultimate prize for the winning team in this second Play-In game is a first-round playoff series against the No. 1 seed, the Boston Celtics.
