News, Cher intends to celebrate by covering her head with a pillow and screaming, showing her reluctance to turn another year older.
This is not the first time that the iconic singer has spoken out about aging. In a 2020 interview with The Guardian, Cher admitted that she dislikes getting older, citing changes in her lifestyle as she has aged. Despite this, during a “Good Morning Britain” appearance in 2023, Cher vowed that she would continue to wear jeans and keep her long hair even when she reaches 80 years old.
During a November 2023 interview on Today, Cher expressed that she would do anything to be 70 years old again, showing her reservations about reaching the milestone of 78. Her representatives have not made any comments on her upcoming birthday or her thoughts on aging.
