Chelsea’s Loanees Prepare for Pre-Season Tour under New Manager Enzo Maresca

Chelsea’s loaned players eager for a major opportunity

Angelo Gabriel, a Chelsea player on loan at Strasbourg, and Andrey Santos, another Chelsea player, have been instructed to get ready for the club’s pre-season tour in the United States. Last season, both players were on loan at Strasbourg, Chelsea’s partner club in France.

As a young talent aged 19, Santos has a good chance of being selected for the squad under new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca. Maresca is eager to use the tour as an opportunity to assess loan players and young talents. The Italian coach has provided evaluations on each player, including those from the academy, but is not directly involved in the day-to-day transfer operations at Stamford Bridge.

Angelo Gabriel was also signed from Santos for £13 million last summer and was expected to play a significant role with the team moving forward. However, recent reports suggest that the club has been allowed to speak to Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, which may impact Angelo’s future with the team.
