There are reports circulating that Chelsea is close to acquiring Basel midfielder Renato Veiga in a £12m deal. Veiga, a 20-year-old defensive midfielder who can also play at center-back or on the left side of defense, has agreed to terms with Chelsea.
In addition to Veiga, Chelsea is also finalizing a deal to bring Boca Juniors center-back Aaron Anselmino to Stamford Bridge. The £14m deal will see Anselmino remain on loan with Boca for the next 12 months, with the option for Chelsea to bring him to the club earlier in January 2025 if necessary.
