Charlotte Motor Speedway Hosts a Triple Threat of NASCAR Series Races on Friday: Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and ARCOA

Friday’s Schedule for NASCAR Truck and Xfinity Series Races at Charlotte Motor Speedway

On Friday, Charlotte Motor Speedway will host two national NASCAR series: the Craftsman Truck Series and the Xfinity Series. The Craftsman Truck Series teams will be practicing, qualifying, and racing, while Xfinity Series teams will have practice and qualifying sessions in preparation for their race on Saturday afternoon. Additionally, ARCA Menards Series teams will be at Charlotte on Friday for practice, qualifying, and a 100-lap race.

The defending winner of the Charlotte Truck race, Ben Rhodes, is currently ninth in the Truck standings and is aiming to secure his first win of the season. Meanwhile, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been fined $75,000 and his father has been indefinitely suspended, while Kyle Busch has not faced any penalties. Cup drivers entered in the Xfinity race this weekend include Chase Elliott, Ty Gibbs, Kyle Busch, and Noah Gragson.

The Friday schedule at Charlotte Motor Speedway includes a variety of garage openings, practices, and qualifying sessions for the different series. The weather forecast predicts partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain in the evening, with a high of 78 degrees and a 34% chance of rain around the start of the Truck race.

In terms of track activity, there will be ARCOA practice and qualifying sessions as well as Truck and Xfinity Series practices and qualifying. The day will culminate with the ARCOA race covering 150 miles over 100 laps followed by the Truck Series race which covers 201 miles over 134 laps both races will be broadcast on FS1 with additional coverage on Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio
