The Boston Celtics have just swept the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers, and are now four wins away from their 18th NBA Championship. This is their second consecutive trip to the NBA Finals, with a dominant 12-2 record in the playoffs, including a perfect 6-0 record on the road.
The Celtics will face either the Dallas Mavericks or Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA Finals. The Mavericks currently lead the series 3-0 and will have a chance to sweep on Tuesday night, led by superstars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Regardless of the opponent, the Celtics are expected to be heavily favored after an impressive regular season record of 68-14 and a dominant postseason performance.
The first game of the NBA Finals is scheduled for Thursday, June 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET at TD Garden. NBC Sports Boston will have coverage starting an hour before each game with Celtics Pregame Live, halftime coverage with Celtics Halftime Live, and postgame coverage with Celtics Postgame Live. All Finals games will be broadcast on ABC.
