Celebrating Victory: 27-Year-Old Italian International, Nicolò Barella Extends Contract with Inter Milan for Another Five Years

Barella signs contract extension with Inter until 2029

Nicolo Barella, a 27-year-old Italian international, recently celebrated winning the 2024 Serie A title with Inter Milan. He has extended his contract with the club until 2029 and expressed his happiness and pride in continuing to play for Inter in a statement on the club’s website.

Barella, who has been a key player for Inter last season, contributed significantly to their successful Serie A title win. He joined the club in 2019 from Cagliari and has since made 235 appearances while lifting two Scudettos and two Italian cups with the team. His contract extension reflects his commitment to Inter and his ambition to achieve further success with the club.

In addition to playing for Inter, Barella will also represent Italy at Euro 2024 and hopes to win a second continental title with his national team. Despite picking up a muscle problem in a recent friendly match, he is expected to be in the starting XI when Italy faces Albania in their first match of the tournament on June 15.

Barella emphasized his belief in Inter’s project and expressed his excitement about continuing to fight for its colors as he looks forward to many more years of success with the team.
