Celebrating Public Health: A Resource Fair

The 1st Annual Public Health Celebration & Resource Fair is an invitation to everyone to learn about public health – the science and art of protecting and improving the health of people and their communities. This event will feature a career panel led by Dr. Ashanti Carter from CDU and special guest Director Alison King from LBHHS.

The celebration will take place during National Public Health Week, Black Student Success Week, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Awareness Month. Attendees can enjoy free food while supplies last, and more information can be found on the event flyer.

For students who require Sign language interpreting services or Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services, please contact the event contact person and Stephanie Bonales at least 72 hours prior to the event. For faculty and staff who require Sign language interpreting services, contact the event contact person and Rebecca Lucas at least 5 business days prior to the event. If CART services are needed, contact the event contact person and Jaymee Hunt at least 5 business days prior to the event. Please note that requests are based on provider availability.
