Celebrating Outstanding Business Leaders: Northwood University and Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation Host Annual Event

Introducing the Exceptional Group of Business Leaders in the 2024 Class

The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation will host the 2024 Class of Outstanding Business Leaders on April 6. This annual event, now in its 44th year, recognizes modern business leaders who have made significant contributions to the free enterprise system. Northwood University President Kent MacDonald expressed excitement for the event, highlighting the historical and innovative backdrop that the museum and the state of Michigan offer.

Vice President of Advancement Murray Kyte emphasized that the event aligns with the ethos of both Northwood University and Henry Ford, showcasing America’s rich business culture and the spirit of modernization and entrepreneurship.

This year’s honorees include Mamadou Diallo, Thomas Latham, Sarah Rowley Opperman, Chris Pruitt, Ret. Ambassador John Rakolta Jr., and Eric D. July who will receive the Richard DeVos Young Entrepreneur Award for his work as CEO and founder of Rippaverse, a comic book company. Each honoree has demonstrated exceptional leadership and success in their respective industries.

The celebration will take place at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, a fitting venue for honoring these outstanding individuals. The museum offers a unique blend of history and innovation which is perfectly suited to recognize modern business leaders who have made significant contributions to the free enterprise system.
