The Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards have announced the nominees for boys wrestler of the year. These athletes, hailing from a variety of high schools such as Appleton North, Oconto Falls, Lourdes/Valley Christian, D.C. Everest, Kaukauna, Plymouth, Luxemburg-Casco, Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, Neenah, Weyauwega-Fremont, Two Rivers, Coleman, Medford and New London have been recognized for their outstanding performance throughout the school year.
During the live show on June 13 at 7 p.m. at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay, these nominees will be honored along with athletes of the year from 26 other sports. The event is proudly presented by Festival Foods and supported by Cellcom. Nominated athletes who RSVP will receive a free ticket to the event and more information about how to obtain additional tickets can be found soon on their website or by following them on Facebook.
The awards show is part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards which recognizes prep athletes from various markets for their achievements during the school year. This prestigious recognition provides an opportunity to honor and celebrate these young athletes’ hard work and dedication to their sport.
As an added special feature to this evening’s festivities a celebrity guest will be present at the event with details about who this special guest is yet to be announced soon .
