Cathay Pacific Upgrades Premium Economy Cabins with Impressive IFE Screen and Enhanced In-Flight Entertainment System

New business class seats from Cathay Pacific for premium economy passengers

Cathay Pacific has recently made several notable upgrades to its premium economy cabins, including an impressive increase in the size of the IFE screen. The new screens now stretch to a stunning 15.6 inches, up from the previous 11 inches, and come equipped with high-definition 4K monitors and Bluetooth pairing capabilities. These enhancements are designed to improve the overall in-flight entertainment experience for passengers.

In addition to the larger screens, Cathay Pacific has also introduced a new GUI system across its fleet, starting with the A350 aircraft and new additions. This system offers a revamped navigation system with a more thematic approach, an updated 3D map, and improved cameras for live nose and tail views. The new IFE system also allows passengers to control their customer experience, enabling them to browse menu options and even shop in-flight.

Cathay Pacific has also partnered with Disney +, HBO Max, and Paramount to provide passengers with a wider range of content options, including live sports. With these enhancements, Cathay Pacific is ensuring that passengers have a comfortable and enjoyable journey from start to finish. Later this year, the airline will unveil new sustainable dining elements in both the premium economy and economy cabins, further enhancing the overall passenger experience on board.
