Carroll College Shines as Academic Powerhouse in Winter Sports Season

50 Carroll winter sports athletes honored for their outstanding athletic performances

During this winter sports season, the Frontier Conference recognized 175 student-athletes for their academic achievement. Carroll College stood out among all institutions with 50 of their student-athletes being named Academic All-Conference. Winter sports, such as basketball and indoor track and field, were included in the recognition.

To qualify for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25. This shows the dedication and hard work put in by these individuals. The fact that Carroll led in the number of student-athletes recognized for their academic achievement speaks to the commitment to both academics and athletics that these students uphold.

In addition to their impressive department-wide GPA of 3.33 during the fall semester, Carroll College’s student-athletes also had an impressive performance on the court and track.
