Cardinals and Fanatics Hold Up Release of Marvin Harrison Jr. Jerseys Despite Licensing Agreement

Marvin Harrison Jr. jerseys continue to be unavailable for purchase

Marvin Harrison Jr. agreed to the NFLPA licensing arrangement that would allow his jersey to be sold after signing his rookie contract with the Cardinals. However, despite this agreement, his jersey is still not available for purchase or pre-order on the Cardinals’ online shop or Fanatics’ NFL page.

It is unclear why the Cardinals and/or Fanatics were not prepared to release Harrison jerseys as soon as he signed the agreement granting them the right to sell his jerseys. There are rumors that Harrison may have previously declined to sign the NFLPA licensing agreement in order to renegotiate his deal with Fanatics. However, Harrison claims there was no existing deal in place at the time of signing. It is possible that Fanatics, who has since sued Harrison for breach of contract, may be withholding the production and marketing of Harrison jerseys as a way to gain leverage over him.

Despite this agreement, Marvin Harrison Jr.’s jerseys are still not available for purchase.
