Car Crash into Future Nails Salon Causes Injury to Employee in Williamsport

Employee injured in vehicle collision at business on the Golden Strip | Latest Updates on News, Sports, and Employment

On Saturday, just before 10 a.m., a car crashed into Future Nails on Eck Circle, near East Third Street and Pearson Avenue. A female employee at the business was injured in the incident, according to state police. The woman was taken by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, as confirmed by emergency personnel. Fortunately, neither the driver nor her passenger sustained any injuries in the crash.

The driver was reportedly trying to park the rental Genesis when the collision occurred, according to police. The front of the building suffered significant damage as a result of the crash. As a safety precaution, the business will remain closed until the Loyalsock Township codes officer inspects the building and confirms its safety, as mentioned by fire officials.
