The Bloomington Economic Development Corporation hosted a panel discussion where the candidates for governor of Indiana shared their plans for improving the state’s economy. Jennifer McCormick, Mike Braun, and Donald Rainwater, the Democratic, Republican, and Libertarian nominees respectively, participated in the discussion.
During the event, the candidates discussed a range of topics related to the economy including taxation, government spending, education, and healthcare. They offered their unique perspectives on how to improve the quality of life for Hoosiers. Braun emphasized the need for keeping tax bills in line with economic growth while Rainwater highlighted the issues with excessive government involvement in daily life. On the other hand, McCormick focused on women’s reproductive rights and access to affordable healthcare.

They could ask questions about various issues such as affordable housing and global warming.
