Canary Technologies Raises $50 Million for Guest Management Solutions in Hospitality Industry

Canary Technologies, a company that provides guest management solutions for hotels, has recently secured $50 million in Series C funding. This brings the company’s total funding to nearly $100 million. The funding round was led by Insight Partners, who also led the company’s Series B in 2022.

Existing investors F-Prime Capital, Thayer Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Commerce Ventures also participated in the funding round. Canary Technologies works with over 20,000 hoteliers globally, including those aligned with well-known brands like Wyndham, Marriott, Hilton, and Four Seasons.

The company offers solutions to digitize various hotel operations from post-booking through checkout. This helps eliminate paper processes, improve efficiency, boost revenue, enhance the guest experience, and reduce chargebacks and payment fraud. Canary is currently deploying what it calls “one of the largest rollouts of guest-facing AI technology in hospitality ever.”

Harman Singh Narula, co-founder and CEO of Canary Technologies said that AI is transforming the way we live, work and travel. The company is at the forefront of delivering enterprise-grade hospitality AI solutions to streamline operations and elevate the guest experience. He expressed excitement over the significant demand for their products in the market and the opportunity to extend partnerships with existing investors. SJ Sawhney president and co-founder of Canary Technologies highlighted that their mission is to help hoteliers modernize their tech stack to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The funding will be used to build a world-class team focused on innovation and accelerate the company’s roadmap. With Canary AI already deployed in some of the world’s largest enterprise hotel brands they aim to enhance their AI capabilities further and expand its use across the industry.

In summary, Canary Technologies has raised $50 million in Series C funding to continue providing guest management solutions for hotels globally using artificial intelligence technology
