Busting the Wheel-Cunning Thief: A Case of Stolen Semi-Truck Tires and Recovered Items in Lake Hallie, Wisconsin.

Accused thief apprehended by authorities for allegedly stealing from Lake Hallie establishment

On March 28, 2024, a suspect was taken into custody for allegedly stealing from a business in Lake Hallie, Wisconsin. The incident occurred at a business on 118th Street in the village. According to reports, over 30 semi-truck tire rims and other items were stolen, totaling an estimated loss of $4,500.

Following the report of theft, Lake Hallie police responded to investigate the crime scene. A detective from the department contacted scrap yards with information about the stolen items and a description of the suspect’s vehicle. On April 2, 2024, one of the scrap yards informed the detective that they had all the stolen items in their possession.

The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Andrew Charlesworth-White of Sand Creek. Charlesworth-White was found and most of the stolen items were recovered from the scrapyard on April 3rd. He was arrested on suspicion of felony theft and taken to Chippewa County Jail for further investigation.

This incident serves as a reminder to report thefts and work closely with law enforcement to seek justice for victims.
