Burglary in River North: Business on Hubbard Street Robbed; Chicago Police Department Spotted Outside Bar Goa

On Thursday morning, a burglary occurred at a River North business on Hubbard Street in Chicago. According to police, two suspects broke into the business around 5 a.m. and stole a safe. The suspects then fled in a white midsized SUV that was waiting for them, driving west in an alley.

As of Thursday afternoon, no suspects were in custody and Area Three detectives were investigating the incident. This burglary comes on the heels of a series of smash-and-grab burglaries on the South Side of Chicago using stolen vehicles. The thieves, who are wearing masks, have been targeting clothing and liquor stores.
