Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders and his staff have planned a significant recruiting weekend for the end of June. The event will feature Class of 2025 Colorado commits Mantrez Walker and Corbin Laisure, along with five-star quarterback Julian “JuJu” Lewis and four-star offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden.
The Buffs’ staff faces the challenge of keeping Walker and Laisure engaged and excited about their future at the university. Given that commitments are not as binding as they once were, the staff must work hard to maintain these two commits’ interest in Colorado. These two commits could also play a crucial role in convincing Lewis and Gooden to commit to Colorado.
With only three commits in the 2025 class, including Walker, Laisure, and three-star cornerback Alex Graham, the Buffs’ staff is working to build on these commitments and secure more talented players for the program.
