BTS and UNICEF team up for #OnMyMind: A Campaign to Boost Mental Health Support for Young People Worldwide

BTS and UNICEF have joined forces once again for the second phase of their Love Myself campaign, with the #OnMyMind initiative announced on April 22. This new chapter aims to support the mental health of young people worldwide.

To kick off #OnMyMind, BTS, along with their label Big Hit and UNICEF, are offering fans the chance to send electronic postcards through the Korean Committee’s UNICEF website. These postcards can share personal stories, challenges, and thoughts, with submissions potentially being displayed in a gallery on the website to create a sense of community and support.

In 2017, BTS partnered with UNICEF for the Love Myself campaign to combat violence and create a safer environment for children and teens to live happily without fear. As the campaign’s fifth anniversary approaches in 2022, BTS released a message to their fans encouraging them to continue loving themselves and supporting each other in doing so.

Members of BTS, such as SUGA and J-Hope, expressed their pride in the impact of the Love Myself message on people’s lives but also highlighted the importance of reaching out to those who may still struggle with self-love. The group believes that their fans, known as ARMY, will continue to support the Love Myself campaign and spread positivity.

The Love Myself campaign has already received over $6.6 million in contributions from ARMY and BTS. The initiative has made significant strides in promoting mental health and creating a supportive community for youth around the world.
