In a post on Instagram from Marseille, France, Bruce Springsteen announced the postponement of his European performances due to vocal issues. The 74-year-old singer assured his audience that he would return to the cities where his shows had been delayed and expressed his regret at not being able to perform while thanking fans from Ireland, the UK, and Wales for their support during the memorable shows they had already enjoyed together.
The decision to postpone the upcoming performances in Prague, Milan, and Madrid was made by doctors after further examination of Springsteen’s vocal issues. New dates for the rescheduled shows will be announced in the near future, as stated on the singer’s social media accounts. The next performance on the schedule is set for June 12 in Madrid, with Springsteen looking forward to rocking his audience in Spain.
In a recent interview, Springsteen reflected on his battle with peptic ulcer disease in 2023 that had caused him to postpone numerous shows the previous year, including his fears of never being able to sing again. With the help of skilled doctors, he overcame the health issue and expressed his gratitude towards them for enabling him to continue doing what he loves most.
As he prepares to return to the stage after his recent setback, Springsteen’s message to his fans is clear – he will be back, ready to deliver the show of a lifetime.
