A Broward County business was damaged after a driver crashed into it on Tuesday night, according to authorities. The driver, identified as 51-year-old Alreegus D. Holmes, allegedly lost control of the vehicle and smashed into the business on Northwest 31st Avenue. The business is believed to be Ovie Discount & Beauty Supply.
Luckily, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. Video footage captured shows individuals boarding up the damaged area and securing their business to prevent further damage.
Holmes was taken into custody on charges including DUI, DUI with property damage, and driving with a suspended license. Official records confirmed the charges against him.
