Bronze for Examining Stereotypes: Rest of World’s Impressive Creative Competition Win

In the recent 45th annual Creative Competition, Rest of World was awarded a Bronze medal in the Design, Social Issues category. The team behind this project included Joanne Lee as Designer, Anna Rasshivkina and Lily Lou as Developers, and Cengiz Yar as Art Director.

The judges of the competition praised the entry, calling it fascinating and impressive for a newsroom of its size. They particularly highlighted the data and graphic-driven approach of the article, noting its accessibility on mobile devices and engaging content throughout.

Apart from the Bronze award, Rest of World also received awards of Excellence in three other categories. These included recognition for the article “40 companies that are beating the West” in the Business Design category, a piece on China as the world’s shopping cart in Line of Coverage: Business, and a project on How people laugh online in the Portfolio: Story Page Design category.
